Burn Tokens, Build Brains: The Self-Improving AI-Native Company

This talk explores the AI-native company as a self-improving organization where context, not software alone, becomes the core operating asset. Rather than simply adding AI tools to existing workflows, the AI-native enterprise captures market signals, customer conversations, product decisions, internal knowledge, and execution patterns into a governed “company brain.” Using ideas from DevOps, context development lifecycle, and machine-readable governance, the talk examines how organizations can build recursive loops that sense, decide, act, verify, and learn. It also challenges the seductive promise of “burn tokens, not headcount” by asking how companies can preserve human judgment, protect strategic knowledge, avoid cognitive overload, and maintain differentiation in a world where features are easy to copy. The goal is a practical framework for building companies that learn continuously without becoming opaque, noisy, or over-automated.
