Isabelle Moret

Isabelle Moret is a Swiss political leader serving as State Councillor of the Canton of Vaud and Head of the Department of Economy, Innovation, Employment, and Heritage (DEIEP) since 2022. In this capacity, she drives policies to foster sustainable economic growth, support innovation, strengthen competitiveness, and promote job creation. From 2006 to 2022, Isabelle Moret was a Member of the Swiss National Council, where she focused on key issues such as health, employment, climate, and institutional policy. She was elected President of the National Council for the 2019–2020 term. Beyond her parliamentary work, she has held leadership roles in major national associations, including serving as President of H+ Swiss Hospitals, and contributing to governing bodies in the fields of healthcare, energy, and industry.
