Maël Azokly is an Attorney at Law at Walder Wyss. He advises Swiss and international entities, as well as private individuals, on litigious and non-litigious matters arising from disruptive technologies and business models, transnational trade, employment relationships, and criminal investigations. He has led several initiatives on digital self-determination, artificial intelligence, blockchain, web3, neuroscience, and the future of work, leading him to formally join the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community in 2020. Active in the legal community, he was elected to the board of the Geneva Young Bar Association, serving over 1’000 lawyers under 40. He has further been serving as an Arbitrator for the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot since 2023. Maël Azokly studied law and international affairs primarily at the University of Geneva, while also spending part of his studies at the National University of Singapore (NUS).

Jerome Berger is the Chairman and Managing Partner of Orange Ventures. Jerome joined Orange Ventures in 2019 as CEO to deploy the fund’s new ambition. He was the head of Orange Group Financing and Treasury since 2012, managing the Group’s Balance sheet and funding, as well as the multi-billions financial investment and derivatives portfolios. Prior to that, he occupied various key positions at Orange, notably in equity capital markets as well as project and infrastructure financing in Europe, Africa and the Carribean region. Jerome has a 20 year-experience as a Board member, and serves today as a Director of Orange Spain and Orange Bank. He also overlooks globally the development of Orange Fintech infrastructure projects, and co-founded the start-ups NowCP and ID2S in 2017.

With over 16 years of experience in cybersecurity, Dr Świątkowska brings a unique cross-sector perspective to her new role at ECSO. Her career spans leadership positions across the private sector, academia and civil society, and close collaboration with public administration nationally and internationally. She was listed among Eastern Europe’s 100 Emerging Technology Stars by the Financial Times & New Europe 100 for 2017, as well as included among the Top 20 Women in Cybersecurity by the Women in Tech Summit for 2019. She is a proud godmother of the regimental colours of the Regional Computing Center Kraków. Previously serving as Deputy Secretary General of ECSO, Dr Świątkowska has been instrumental in shaping European cybersecurity policy, fostering international collaboration, and driving strategic coordination efforts. Her appointment ensures a new chapter in ECSO’s mission to strengthen Europe’s cybersecurity ecosystem and promote strategic digital autonomy through public-private cooperation.

Before founding Forestay Capital, Fred spent over 25 years in Technology as Chief Digital Officer of large and global high-tech corporations. He designed from scratch and successfully implemented the entire digitization of the value chain at Serono (one of the largest Biotech companies in the world), covering research, development, regulatory, manufacturing, supply chain, marketing & sales, finance, legal, HR, Communication and IT, in support of an exponential business growth. After the acquisition of Serono by Merck (a 40K+ employee global leader in Science & Tech), Fred was named Chief Digital Officer of the Group (CDO) reporting to the CEO in charge of the global business transformation; he re-engineered the full digital tech stack across 60 countries and 4 divisions. His track and business contribution were recognized by KPMG in 2006 as Biotech CDO of the year and again by EY as Swiss CDO of the year in 2013. Fred has supported more than a dozen founders in the design of their growth strategies and execution capabilities set-up and is recognized as a strong board influencer. Swiss citizen, married, two children, born in Afghanistan, grown in Thailand and Italy; speaks fluently French English and Italian. Two years in the Swiss Army (Tanks Commando) – Promoted Officer (Lieutenant) in 1987. Degree in Business Management from the HEC University of Geneva, has followed executive trainings at Babson in Boston, IMD in Lausanne, Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern) in Chicago, HKUST Hong-Kong and INSEAD Paris.
