Cyber is about people and a peaceful cyberspace is one that improves lives. With an International Law and Human Rights background, I have 15+ years’ experience in working for international organizations(United Nations, World Economic Forum, CyberPeace Institute) on strategy and partnerships development, action-oriented research, technical assistance and capacity building in international justice, human rights and security. I have developed my expertise on countering and preventing cybercrime and misuse of technology, focusing on opportunities, risks and threats created by new technologies. I have a long standing expertise on leading programs to foster cybersecurity, increase cyber resilience and promote cyberpeace. We have been working hard in making our societies more resilient. We need now to make them "anti-fragile". At the Institute, I am leading the strategic engagement in programs and initiatives leveraging multistakeholder cooperation and partnerships (with civil society, academia, corporates, philanthropy and public institutions) to strengthen cyber resilience and secure digital transformation, to reduce the harms from cyberattacks and disinformation, to anticipate the challenges posed by AI and emerging technology, and to promote sustainable cyberpeace. It is a shared responsibility.

Beate Fleury is the CTO of Adnovum, a passionate technology strategist with a strong focus on human AI collaboration, digital sovereignty, and resilient software architecture. She explores how to harness the disruptive power of artificial intelligence in a productive and responsible way, supporting organisations across the private and public sectors as they navigate rapid technological change. Beate is committed to strengthening Switzerland as a trusted digital space, helping people and institutions operate safely and confidently through secure data environments, sustainable software ecosystems, and forward looking innovation practices. Her work is driven by a deep belief that technology should empower individuals and society, creating long term value built on trust, transparency, and resilience.

Chef du Centre régional de compétences cybernétiques de Suisse occidentale • Republic and State of Geneva

Chef de la Section criminalistique de la Police cantonale genevoise ; Chef du Centre régional de compétences cybernétiques de Suisse occidentale ; Directeur adjoint du Réseau national de soutien aux enquêtes dans la lutte contre la criminalité informatique. Le Capitaine Patrick GHION dirige la Section criminalistique de la Police cantonale genevoise. Cette section est composée de six brigades, dont les cyber-enquêtes, le renseignement criminel et la criminalité informatique. Il dirige également le Centre de compétences cybernétiques de Suisse occidentale et est le directeur adjoint du Réseau national de soutien aux enquêtes dans la lutte contre la criminalité informatique. Après avoir travaillé pendant cinq ans dans des banques suisses, il a travaillé en Asie comme instructeur de plongée avant de rejoindre la police criminelle en 1997. Ses nombreuses passions sont la plongée sous-marine et l'aviation.

Dr. Ilia Kolochenko is a CEO at ImmuniWeb, a global application security company. He is also an attorney-at-law in Washington, DC, and a Vice-Chair of the Information Security Committee of the American Bar Association (ABA). Dr. Ilia Kolochenko is a Fellow at European Law Institute (ELI) and a Fellow at the British Computer Society (BCS).

Head of Digital Research and Innovation • SICPA

Jean-Christophe Makuch is Head of Digital Research & Innovation at SICPA, where he leads strategic work on digital trust, advanced security technologies and innovation. With a background in software engineering, DevOps and digital transformation, he has held senior technical and managerial roles across the finance, engineering and digital-security sectors. He is particularly active on topics such as AI, post-quantum security and digital identity, helping bridge cutting-edge research with real-world applications.
