Nagib holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, and Cryptography from the French university ENSIMAG. He is a former CISO at SEBA Bank, one of the first licensed crypto banks. In 2020, Nagib founded DuoKey, a cybersecurity startup focused on encryption and key management using SEPIOR MPC technology. It enables customers to confidently move sensitive workloads to the cloud, where they can benefit from strong security controls that help meet internal and external compliance requirements. Nagib has more than 20 years of experience in digital identity and smartcards and has proven experience implementing complex technical projects. Previously, he held key positions in several large companies specialising in digital security, such as Gemalto, Thales Security, and Accenture. Nagib has worked with national governments on large-scale ID projects in Europe, North Africa, and the USA.

Associate Professor in Cybersecurity • HES-SO Genève

Anastasija Collen is an Associate Professor of Cybersecurity at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Western Switzerland (HES-SO – HEG), Geneva, and co-head of the I-Sec Lab. She holds a PhD in Information Systems from the University of Geneva and brings extensive industry experience from her work as a software and R&D engineer. Her research centers on applied cybersecurity, privacy protection, and automated risk assessment for connected and intelligent systems, with a particular focus on IoT and automated mobility. She was recognised by the IEEE Computer Society among Computing’s Top 30 Early Career Professionals for 2024.

Dr. Melanie Kolbe-Guyot is Head of Data Governance and Compliance at Data Competence Center (DCC) at the Statistical Office of the Canton of Basel-City. Originally from Berlin, Germany, she studied Political Science and International Affairs in both Germany and the United States, earning her PhD from the University of Georgia, Athens (USA), in 2015. She previously served as an Assistant Professor of Political Science and International Affairs at the Graduate Institute in Geneva, focusing on public policy and political economy. She was also Head of Policy at the Center for Digital Trust (C4DT) at EPFL in Switzerland. Melanie has led projects on digital trust and technology policy and has authored policy papers on data governance, privacy-preserving data-sharing technologies, and the use of AI in the public sector.
