Neuroscientist and public speaker in neurotechnologies, artificial intelligence, and responsible innovation. Dr Chavarriaga is senior researcher at the Zürich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) and head of the Swiss office of the Confederation of Laboratories for AI Research in Europe (CLAIRE). His work is focused on leveraging neuroscience, AI, and ethics for advancing responsible innovation and governance of human-centered technology.

National Technology Officer • Microsoft
Marc Holitscher is National Technology Officer for Microsoft Switzerland. He assumed the role in April 2015. In this function, Holitscher oversees the development of Microsoft’s technology vision and strategy, translating innovative technologies into business impact and outcomes for customers and other stakeholders. Holitscher joined Microsoft Switzerland in 2005, and since held various roles of increasing responsibility, including leading the organization of solution specialists, the server and tools business unit, as well as Head of Platform Strategy. Marc Holitscher holds a PhD in International Relations from the University of Zurich.

Arman is a senior data scientist with over 8 years of experience in the domain and am currently head of AI at CertX. In 2020, he obtained his Ph.D. in Applied Machine Learning in Embedded Systems from EPFL contributing to innovative solutions followed by one year of postdoctoral research. As an AI researcher, he has contributed to 20+ peer-reviewed publications and served as a reviewer in several top-tier Journals and Conferences. In 2022, he joined CertX an accredited certification body in functional safety and cybersecurity and a Swiss delegate in ISO SC42: Artificial Intelligence.

CEO • AI Legal & Strategy Consulting AG
Prisca Quadroni, LL.M., Swiss lawyer, is CEO and co-founder of AI Legal & Strategy Consulting AG, a consulting firm that helps companies in identifying and realize opportunities offered by artificial intelligence (AI) and other innovative technologies considering practical aspects such as strategy, legal landscape, and human impact. She advises executives and entrepreneurs on legal and ethical issues related to AI and propose training and risk mitigation measures. She is President of Women Experts in AI and board member of associations that foster AI adoption. She further acts as legal expert for the SwissMedtech. Finally, she is engaged in the academic sector, co-leading and teaching different programs at Swiss universities, such as ETH Zurich, University of Lugano and University of Applied Sciences Lucerne.
