Dr. Jean-Marc Rickli is the head of global and emerging risks at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP) in Geneva, Switzerland. He is also the co-chair of the NATO Partnership for Peace Consortium's Emerging Security Challenges Working Groupa and a senior advisor for the Artificial Intelligence Initiative at the Future Society. Prior to these appointments, Dr. Rickli was an assistant professor at the Department of Defence Studies of King’s College London. Dr. Rickli received his PhD in International Relations from Oxford University. His latest book published by Georgetown University is entitled Surrogate Warfare: The Transformation of War in the Twenty-first Century.

He is the Global Head of Digital Trust Assurance Services at SGS, a world largest certification body and Trust Valley founding member. He currently manages a global portfolio of assurance services encompassing information security, business continuity, privacy, and cybersecurity.

Jelena is a respected and accomplished Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for a prominent EU Institution. She has been recognized as CISO of the Year for 2019 in Luxembourg, Sentinel CISO Global 2020, EU CISO 2020, and Ambassador of the Year 2021 in Luxembourg, underscoring her exceptional leadership in the cybersecurity field. Jelena has almost 20 years of experience in the cybersecurity field, with expertise in areas such as cyber security, ICT risk management, ISMS, IT Operations, audit, business and financial processes, and IT governance. Before joining her current role as CISO for the EU Institution in Luxembourg, Jelena served as the Senior Operational Risk and ISO Manager for the European Stability Mechanism (Luxembourg). Her contributions as a pioneer in the field were recognized in the ESM book, and she has also provided technical assistance to international financial institutions globally. As the founding board member and first President of Women Cyber Force (WCF) and the first President and council member of W4C Chapter Luxembourg, Jelena is dedicated to empowering women in the field and advocating for greater diversity in the industry.
